Event Description

Being connected socially and feeling part of a community is important to overall wellbeing. Vision Australia enables you to get involved through our various recreation and social programs, in a safe and accessible environment. Our trained staff and dedicated volunteers facilitate weekly programs, with a range of activities. Participants have a say in what activities are run and below are some examples of what’s on offer:

  • guest speakers from different organisations chosen by the group
  • community outings to various locations
  • gentle exercise
  • trivia and quizzes
  • pottery and crafts
  • community learning with a safe space for everyone to share their experiences.

Location: Vision Australia Ringwood office at 3 Civic Place, Ringwood

Day: Every Friday

Dates: 03/05/2024 to 26/07/2024

Time: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Cost

The program can be funded through your NDIS plan, My Aged Care, Home Care Package (HCP), the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) or privately funded. Please contact us if you would like to know how to arrange funding.

There is also a $7 co-payment towards any additional resources such as craft supplies, games or themed food days.

Free trial:

Every new participant is offered one free trial session.
